St. Mary's is in a stunning location - nestled among the trees down the hillside from Hale House, it's a truly magical and special place that welcomes visitors along the Avon Valley Path.
With capacity to seat 120 people, a toilet, kitchenette, and step-free access (albeit with a steep path), it's a great place to celebrate life events - from baptisms to weddings.
Our clergy team offer a very warm welcome, often with less-formal services on offer at both Hale & Woodgreen churches. Pictured are Rev Ruth Crosland, and Rev John Towler during a Lammastide (harvest thanksgiving) service.
With a beautiful Grade 1 listed building in such a magical setting, it's no wonder that many couples choose to get married at St. Mary's, Hale. It's a beautiful place to visit - even just to listen to the birds singing!

The postcode will get you nearly there – drive down the lime avenue towards Hale Park House, and then follow the small sign, on the building on your right, and turn right to go round down the slope to the Church car park. This picture shows the route (red dots) from the outskirts of Woodgreen. Alternatively, park in Moot Lane, opposite the noticeboard for the Church, and walk the 100 yards up the fairly steep footpath.
