Avon Valley Churches is committed to safeguarding as an integral part of the life and ministry of our churches.

Needed - A Parish Safeguarding Officer
The parish is currently without a safeguarding officer. This voluntary role will involve making sure all safeguarding training is up to date and DBS checking amongst other things. Please contact Luke Wickings or Vicky Semple if you are willing to take on this very important role. A Safeguarding Prayer
Lord Jesus we praise you for calling us to the service of others.
We pray for a generosity of spirit to ensure the vulnerable are protected.
We pray for a compassionate heart so that we will reach out to those who are wounded by abuse.
We pray for courage and determination as we seek the safety of everyone in our parish communities.
