Alex Sains
Ordinand in Training
Alex is currently in training for ordination and is studying at the Winchester School of Mission. She is also the leader of our AVC worship band ‘The Mustard Seeds’.
She has spent the last 38 years working as a speech therapist, running her own business and specialising in the areas of self-esteem and social and emotional communication. She is also an author and trainer.
She is due to be ordained in 2025 and then hopes to juggle a bit of her lecturing and writing whilst remaining in AVC as one of the ministry team.
She is married to Brian and has 3 grown up boys and has recently become a granny.
Her interests are animals (she is a keen vegetarian!), walking, singing, playing the piano and guitar, and composing songs. She also enjoys a glass of wine and a good film.
