Pimm’s in the Garden!

We were treated to a wonderfully rousing afternoon of music and Pimm’s - with live music and good company. And what’s more, about £1,000 was raised for Hale church! Rev Ruth Crosland tells us more…

Sitting in a quintessentially village hall garden last Sunday was the perfect way to spend a lovely afternoon. The sun shone, but there was comforting shade, too. The music of Meraki band & their friends floated through the air as we enjoyed singing some hymns and drinking some Pimm’s. A wonderful combination!

Home-made clotted cream scones with jam topped off a perfect afternoon and we raised about a £1,000 was towards finishing the last 3rd of repairs to the roof at St Mary’s church, Hale, nr. Fordingbridge. ( A grade 1 listed building).
